Brutality and Bloodshed for All is the final studio album by GG Allin. Released in 1993, all of the songs on this album were written while Allin was in Jackson State Prison. Backing band was the Murder Junkies.
Style
This album sounds different to other Allin material, with a more "professional" recording quality. Backing band The Murder Junkies [the third GG Allin backing band to bear the name] give a slicker sound to the music, something quite uncommon since Allin's stint with The Jabbers. William Gilmore Weber's guitar playing imparts a "heavier" sound to the music, making this album sound more like heavy metal than punk rock. Allin's vocal performance style had by this point evolved into a deep, animalistic roar: the combination of the vocal performance & the guitar sound made this album akin to a "death metal" release.
